We love everything about New Year’s Eve: looking back on the previous year, wearing sparkly dresses, sipping some bubbly and celebrating the adventures lying ahead. For us, one of our most exciting endeavors in 2016 is our first foray into the wonderful world of fragrance. On January 14, we’re officially unveiling our four scents, but we wanted to give you a little taste of one to come.

Our celebratory fragrance, Appleberry Champagne, lends itself particularly well to a cocktail (for obvious reasons). Inspired by its juicy green apple and sparkling champagne notes, our resident bartender, Shane, created a lovely libation that’s perfect for any New Year’s Eve party.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. apple vodka (we used Absolut Orient Apple)
- 1 ½ oz. apple cider
- ½ oz. cranberry-apple juice
- Champagne
- Cranberries (for garnish)
Directions:
- Fill a metal shaker halfway with ice.
- Add vodka, apple cider and cranberry-apple juice.
- Take a glass (a pint glass works well, if you have one) and place it over the shaker so they overlap.
- Holding the metal and glass containers together with both hands, shake up and down until the metal feels ice cold to the touch.
- Strain into a martini glass (preferably a chilled one).
- Top with a splash (or two) of champagne and a sprinkling of cranberries.
Bartender’s tip:
Freeze the cranberries in advance so they keep your drink cold while you’re busy mingling.
