This adorable “Do Not Disturb” sun hat by Eugenia Kim and similar styles are popping up all over Instagram. After seeing the price tag, we immediately brainstormed ways to wear this trend on a budget. Luckily, this summer sun hat is easy to recreate and pretty quick (about 30 minutes) — so you can spend more time in the sun and less time on the floor with your glue gun.
Tools Needed:
Sun Hat, Sequin Trim, Hot Glue Gun, Chalk or Fabric Pencil, Scissors

Directions:
1. Decide on a cute quote. We went with “rosé all day,” but we also love “out of office” and “treat yo self.”

2. Sketch the phrase onto the hat with chalk. Make sure to use your best handwriting (or ask your graphic designer friend to do it for you)!
3. In small sections, draw hot glue over the letters and quickly press your sequin trim down until dried. At the end of each word, neatly snip the trim. Repeat until finished.
4. Stun at the beach.
